Pounce
COMPARISON

Facebook Marketplace alert apps, compared.

Eight tools resellers use to watch Marketplace, compared on what each vendor publishes: price, search capacity, check speed, marketplaces, and how far the automation goes.

How we made this comparison. Everything here comes from each vendor's public website, checked on . We didn't sign up for or speed-test competitor products, so this is a comparison of published offers, not a benchmark. Pounce is our product; we've tried to describe its limits as plainly as everyone else's.

How to read the numbers

“Searches” aren't counted the same way everywhere. Flipify charges per watchlist. Pounce counts a slot for each search on each Facebook account it runs on. Several cloud tools give their fastest interval to only some searches on a plan. Work out what your actual watchlist would cost.

Advertised speed isn't a promise. Every vendor on this list describes speed in its own terms, and none can guarantee that every listing is caught. A listing's posted age also isn't proof of how late an alert was. Here's why.

Commitment pricing changes the math. Swoopa's lower monthly figures require paying for 6 or 12 months up front. The table shows month-to-month prices so the rows are comparable.

The tools, one by one

Pounce

Windows software for resellers that monitors Facebook Marketplace through accounts you connect. It filters junk with AI, prices candidates against market data (recent eBay sold comps for custom searches, and KBB, J.D. Power, and WatchCharts on Pro), and alerts you in Discord, Telegram, or Windows. Both plans include Auto-message, Auto-lowball and negotiation, Marketplace relisting, and profit tracking.

Trade-offs: it's Facebook only, it needs your PC awake and running, scanning pauses for at least eight hours a day, and access currently opens through a waitlist. Standard vs. Pro explained.

Swoopa

A well-known cloud app, now focused on sourcing private-party vehicles, with phone apps and AI deal evaluation. Higher plans add more marketplaces, an offer pipeline, and an AI negotiator. It's a strong fit if cars are your main market and you want everything on your phone. Our Pounce vs. Swoopa breakdown goes into detail.

Flipify

Per-watchlist pricing across eight marketplaces, with apps on every platform. It's good value if you want a few fast watchlists across Facebook, Craigslist, OfferUp, and others. Costs rise with each watchlist you add, and optional auto-messaging needs a Facebook sign-in. Pounce vs. Flipify in detail.

Outpost Alerts

Cloud Facebook monitoring with Discord alerts, quiet hours, and inventory and profit views. There's no PC to keep running. The fastest intervals apply to only some watchlists on each plan.

DealSonar

Browser-based monitoring for Facebook, Vinted, eBay, and OfferUp, priced in pounds, with eBay sold comps, profit estimates, and Discord and Telegram alerts above the Starter plan. The UK and EU coverage stands out.

Marketplace Monitor

Cloud monitoring with apps and packages sold by number of searches and find time. It's straightforward if you want a handful of Facebook searches on your phone. The advertised find times are averages.

DealFlip

A deal-scoring tool: scan Marketplace on demand, get a value and a risk read, and save a few alerts. It's the cheapest way to try AI deal scoring. Alerts are checked every 15 to 60 minutes depending on plan, so it's not built for racing other buyers.

Pouncify

A free desktop app for one saved search across Facebook, Craigslist, OfferUp, and Kijiji, with alerts to Telegram, Discord, email, or phone. It's read-only and never messages sellers. A good zero-cost starting point. How Pouncify differs from Pounce.

Common questions

What is the best Facebook Marketplace alert app?

It depends on what you flip and how you work. For private-party vehicles on a phone, a vehicle-focused cloud app may suit you. For many cheap watchlists across several marketplaces, per-watchlist pricing can work out cheaper. For resellers who want alerts, seller messaging, relisting, and profit tracking in one Windows workflow, Pounce is built for that.

Is there a free Facebook Marketplace alert app?

Facebook's own saved searches are free. Among dedicated tools, Pouncify advertises a free tier with one saved search, and DealFlip lists a free plan for light testing. Most paid tools offer a trial instead.

Which Marketplace alert apps can message sellers automatically?

From public product pages: Swoopa lists an AI negotiator on its higher plans, Flipify offers optional Facebook auto-messaging, and Pounce includes Auto-message, Auto-lowball, and negotiation on both plans. DealFlip, Outpost, and Pouncify describe themselves as alert or triage tools that leave contact to you.

Are these prices current?

They were taken from each vendor's public website on September 29, 2026. Prices, limits, and trials change, so check the vendor's own page before you buy.
