Pounce vs. Swoopa: which fits how you flip?
Both tools help you get to good Marketplace deals first. They're built around different workflows, and that matters more than a feature checklist.
Swoopa details come from Swoopa's public pricing and product pages, checked . We haven't tested Swoopa ourselves. Pounce is our product.
The short version
- Choose Swoopa if you mostly source private-party vehicles, want a phone-first cloud app, and want several marketplaces beyond Facebook.
- Choose Pounce if you flip a mix of electronics, collectibles, music gear, and (on Pro) vehicles and watches. It's also the pick if you want Discord-first alerts, outreach and negotiation on every plan, relisting, and profit tracking, all run from your own Windows PC.

Where Swoopa is the better fit
You never want to think about a computer. Swoopa runs in the cloud, so there's no PC to keep awake and no Quiet Hours schedule to plan around.
You source cars from several sites. Turbo and Nitro watch more than Facebook, and Swoopa's product is built around private-party vehicle sourcing.
You want to try before a waitlist. Swoopa offers a 7-day trial today. Pounce is opening access in waves.
Where Pounce is the better fit
You flip more than vehicles. Pounce ships ready-made, priced categories for iPhones, iPads, MacBooks, consoles, video games, PC parts, sealed Pokémon, LEGO, cameras and lenses, golf clubs, and music gear. Pro adds cars, trucks, powersports, and watches. See how categories work.
You want messaging without paying for the top tier. Auto-message, Auto-lowball, and negotiation come with both Pounce plans. You set the ROI target or buy price, messaging hours, radius, and daily opener limit. How it works.
Your crew lives in Discord. Alerts land in the Discord channel you already watch, with price, location, search, profit context, and the AI check. More on Discord alerts.
You want the whole flip in one place. Pounce prepares a Marketplace relist from a find and tracks what you paid, what it sold for, and your expenses.
You want control over accounts and sessions. Facebook sessions, saved passwords, and proxy credentials stay on your computer.
Counting searches fairly
Pounce counts one slot for each enabled search on each account. Five searches split across two accounts use five slots; the same five searches on both accounts use ten. A single Pounce category search, such as Game Consoles, can cover many supported models at once. That's why a raw “number of searches” comparison can mislead in both directions.
Honest limits on the Pounce side
Pounce is Windows only. It monitors Facebook Marketplace only, it needs your PC on and connected, and it pauses scanning for at least eight hours a day. It can't guarantee a delay for every alert or promise that every listing is caught. Profit numbers are estimates, not completed sales. If any of those is a deal-breaker, Swoopa or another cloud alert app may suit you better.

Common questions
Is Pounce cheaper than Swoopa?
Month to month, Pounce Standard is $69 with 20 search slots and Pro is $149 with 30. Swoopa is $47, $144, or $352 a month with 7, 16, or 22 searches, and lower rates if you commit to 6 or 12 months up front. Which is cheaper depends on how many searches you run and whether you need vehicles.
Does Pounce work on my phone like Swoopa?
Pounce runs on a Windows PC, but alerts can go to Discord or Telegram, which you can use on your phone. Swoopa is a cloud service with iPhone and Android apps and doesn't need a computer.
Does Pounce cover Craigslist and OfferUp?
No. Pounce monitors Facebook Marketplace only. Swoopa's Turbo and Nitro plans cover several marketplaces.
Can both tools value cars?
Yes. Swoopa advertises AI deal insights and resale estimates. Pounce Pro values supported vehicles with KBB and J.D. Power data, adjusted for the posted mileage, and drops listings it can't match to a real value.
